Crusader is a unique classic yacht with a hull of Carval Pitch Pine on Oak. Long keeled and seaworthy. The large wheelhouse / cockpit is partly enclosed and can be completely sealed off from the elements with a canvas cover. The saloon has full standing headroom. Two cabins, each with two berth are located in the focsle and aft of the cockpit. Despite her old age she is equipped with radar, autopilot, and a waste water tank amongst others. A reliable Perkins engine provides thrust. Lots of maintenance done in 2007 and 2008, and new equipment has been added. All hoses and pumps are replaced and checked in 2007. New masts were fitted in 2002. Safety equipment includes a new life raft, life jackets and fire extinguishers. Crusader comes with lots of spares and tools, and a dinghy with a 9HP outboard engine. This beautiful classic wooden vessel is looking for a new, caring owner. |

A fantastic ocean cruiser that is priced to sell! One of the earlier 461's (Hull no 7), with a much higher specification that later models. Built in 2004 but first comissioned in 2005.
This 461 has just undergone it's annual lift and antifoul, engine service, new anodes etc, and is ready for long-term cruising. The final stages of fitting out were personally supervised by the owner, with many upgrades and modifications made to the spec, it really needs to be viewed to fully appreciate the incredible inventory.
She has toured the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Mediterranean, all with just husband and wife to handle her. She is now ready to go again! |
