The Moody 64 is a remarkably powerful boat, fully capable of fast passage times across the full range of conditions. Her stunning performance derives from the Bill Dixon's latest generation hull shape balances the power of the underwater sections and lead keel with the tall, high aspect ratio, hydraulically powered fully furling cutter rig with self-tacking stay sail.
Despite her size, the Moody 64 is easily handled by two people. Sail controls and deck handling systems are powered and controlled from the cockpit with its twin steering wheels, padded helm seats and integrated instrument and engine consoles. The high level of specification also includes a 15hp bow thruster, chart plotter and generator.
This beautiful Moody 64 is a true Blue Water Cruiser. She has a huge inventory for comfortable and extensive cruising.
Built in 2003, commissioned in 2004 she is in great condition, full of equippment, and has just undergone her annual maintenance. This Yacht is ready to Cruise. |

The Halberdier 36 was designed for Moodys by Alan Hill, and was the first all-GRP yacht built by the yard. A total of 29 were moulded by Marcon (Marine Construction Ltd., Plymouth), and finished by Moodys, between 1967 and 1973.
Most Halberdiers had 35 hp Perkins engines, but this yacht has a larger engine, a 48 hp Perkins, with substantially increased tankage.
Despite the 'motor sailer' tag, the Halberdier is a genuine sailing yacht, with a classic long keel hull form and a powerful rig.
Bellrock II is part 1 registered in the U.K.
She is an ideal boat for living aboard and for sailing single handed. She has been cruised in British and European Atlantic waters.
She is now lying ashore in Povoa de Varzim, Portugal and has undergone refurbishment. Povoa de Varzim is a short metro ride from Porto airport and is a friendly and very well priced marina. Baiona in spain is only a 10 hour sail and short hops down the coast will take you to the Algarve very quickly.
She has been anti-fouled and has had many new items added, including navigation lights.
Easy access from Porto airport to Povoa de Varzim via the metro and discounted hotel accomodation can be arranged.
